Final checks
Use this check list to make sure you're ready to Get Going:
- Assess the market
- Find suppliers
- Find a place to operate the business
- If necessary, check planning permissions
- Arrange business insurance
- Decide on a name for your business
- Register with HM Revenue & Customs as a sole trader or partnership
- OR set up a limited company
- Open a business bank account
- Order your business stationery (Business cards at a minimum!)
- Start advertising
- Set up your bookkeeping system
Don't forget to use your business plan to monitor the progress of your business!
